400-1000 The Age of Communion
According to Ishgardian holy scripture, 545 marks the year when King Thordan is visited by the goddess Halone, who beseeches him to guide his people to the Promised Land of Coerthas : Meanwhile the 1st rumours of goddess Lilith, the Thirteenth, and Noble house of Montmioux begin to whisper. It is unknown is this is truly how the house came to Ishgaurd or if that is where their true origins lied.
In 600 a team of researchers from the Studium commences a survey of the northern isles. As crusaiders seek to go beyond Eorzea and spread the great word of Halone, Montmioux establishes its cultish ties in the far corners of the world and its home star; Seventh Century.
Also in 600 leader of the ruling Mitsurugi clan of Onokuni, leads his clan to victory and brings an end to six centuries of civil war. The Mitsurugi Bakufu becomes the reigning government of the unified nation of Hingashi. Viera remain secluded in Othard, watching in the Golmore Jungle, hardening their barriers and territorial muster against these outsiders.
Take heart a young Veena from Skatay Range becomes curious of these new beings, and thusly enamoured. She meets a Nightkin Elezen from the silent crusade. Duc Courtnître Montmioux III.
In 800 the secrecy of the Mogr the surnames of the Viera whom established ties with Montmioux are told of tales of their reconceliation with the Hyur, the talk of a growing empire, and secrets of the Nightkin. Also in 800 The Garleans, after suffering defeat in their territorial claims in the southern region of Ilsabard, cross the central mountain range and settle in the snow-clad northlands; thus the perfect pathway into the east is the Skatay Range.
And so comes the end of the long life of the 1st Veena to weave ties between the Mogr family and Montmioux. Certain accounts dictate Courtnître Montmioux III may have been devastated.

In 900 ,with the boom in ship construction, acts of piracy by Lominsan citizens become increasingly commonplace. Veena only hear stories of this and blame the secret of shipmaking to other lands a product of venturing Viera. Now commissioning males to dwell ever outside their walls to keep these voyageurs from using Veena knowledge of shipmaking to come and plunder the northern east.
Meanwhile in 922 the Veena mistakenly ignore The Garleans who establish the Republic of Garlemald in the northern reaches of Ilsabard.

1000-1500The Age of Strife & The Age of Stability __
The connection between Voidsent Nightkin and the ritualist with these Viera are long since strengthened.
The mighty Dravanian general Darkscale awakens in 1354 and leads an army of wyverns in a raid on the villages of the eastern Coerthas highlands. The Temple Knights and dragoons join forces to retaliate, and succeed in repelling the dragon threat. A mortally wounded Darkscale tumbles from the heavens and plummets into the depths of Clearwater Lake, and the battlefield is henceforth known as the Fields of Glory. With this as a caution Montmioux seeks to bond their legacy through ritual. With the mother goddess Lilith at their side pacts are met with certain Veena to ''bless'' and ''turn'' them, solidifying their force.

In 1469 Ishgardian scouts became emboldened in strength & numbers, stretching their reach & eyes; such as Beltrant de Durendaire, an Ishgardian scout along with his chocobo, Ouranos, who uncover a secret Ala Mhigan march while on patrol. With this knowledge Montmioux begins to work on the birth of the Black Market beneath its city streets and bolster assignations/ trafficking of the Ala Mhigan kind.

House Montmioux hears of Wealthy merchants investing large sums of money into the Coliseum, which uses the funds to construct Halatali, a training ground for professional gladiators during 1481. Thus, the discussion of the Veena male berserkers of Mogr takes place, although apprehensive becomes the occult tribe within the tribe fearing discovery. Partaking in such a lucrative and loud event would draw unlikely attention of their sisters.

1500-1560The Rise of Garlemald__
And so, the Fall of Viera's isolated ethnocentrisms looms near. Discovery of Mogr's involvement with the outside world and hear-say of their occult, over affiliation prompts their Veena sisters to ''house arrest'' Mogr women to keep an eye on them while in search of the truth. As for the men, cast were they, further out from their lands and closer to Ilsbard's icy plains.
In 1513 Garlemald, Solus Galvus's exploits in battle earn him a promotion to legatus at the age of twenty and four. He promptly pushes through reforms which sanction the use of magitek in the Republican legions.

During these very years in 1515 a kitten is born. Aelfgar Mogr, the first of their family to be promised to the mother Lilith. A babe born in secret of VOID AND THAUMATURGE, the Veena black Magi, their mother gives a painful birth at the void gate, cusp of the thirteenth and Garlean/Skatay Range borders.

During 1522 The whole of Ilsabard is unified under Garlean rule. Dictator Solus zos Galvus declares that the Republic will henceforth be governed as an imperial regime, and crowns himself Garlemald's first emperor at the age of thirty and one. Viera look on as tensions rise. Perhaps it was the male Veena Mogr furthing into Garlmard's borders, or the Veena's precautionary bolstering of their walls. It would seem the Garleans' desires to colonise the east were eminante.

In 1528 The Garlean Empire begins its invasion into Othard. Skatay Range fulfilling the prospect of 'the perfect pathway', is devastated by Magitek in which they've never witnessed. Mogr cries out for Lilith's aid and a small party of Montmioux magi and voidsent respond. This unearths the 1st taste of Garlean's unsual aether, and begins the Garlmald Delicacy affinity for the Nightkin. Aelfgar Mogr only age thirteen just before his evidence through name day; already efficient in battle and twice the girth of those at that age, assists with the bloodshed and defense of their lands. This uncovers the blanket of Aelfgar's upbringing and the Mogr are banished/forbidden from fleeing with their sisters. Having no time or 'right' to wait for the youngling's gender to become apparent, the kitten's Mother calls upon they're father, also a Nightkin to take the child and seek refuge West, with Montmioux. Mother Mogr is murdered in the heat of battle by her own kin, accused of blasphemy, betrayal, and leading Garleans right to Veena territories.

In 1529 a small band of Veena males settle in Dravania rooting their runic culture, language, poems, hymns, ship making and cultish Nightkin origins within its lands. Gaining an understanding with dragons, they sanction peace knowledge, and trade...for a time. Also charged with maintaining passage and safety to Montmioux, their affiliates and their business, the Voidsent Viera earn the title Se Premunir.

With the remaining lands of Othard quickly being annexed, in 1553 Garlemald turns its full attention towards Aldenard and begins attacking the Eorzean city-state of Ala Mhigo, drawing attention away from Baelsar's ongoing political subterfuge in the region. This upsets the Black Market Montmioux had establish deep ties within.

1560-1577 The Age of Calm & The age of Now
War. This Viera was born to it, sang songs of it, accustomed to it, bred within it. Every battle under the benefit of Montmioux, Se Premunir would partake. Still very much isolated other than, they held true to their tribal ways, and increased Mogr numbers through outsourcing mating with refugee and wandering Veena who since forgotten or perhaps not have known of their deeds in Skatay Range.

In 1563 Ishgard withdraws from the Eorzean Alliance, declaring the Garlean threat all but over with the retreat of imperial forces to Ala Mhigo. Historians agree, however, that the true motivation for the withdrawal was the Holy See's desire to divert full military strength to the Dravanian threat in the wake of Nidhogg's reappearance. For the Se Premunir this proves beyond troublesome. Their otherwise quiet realm again disrupted by claim and war. Many women and kitten alike were lost as the battle began. And with allegiance to Lilith and Montmioux, they fought under the banner of Ishgard.

In 1565 Ishgard places severe restrictions on chocobo exports after grazing pastures are devastated by the Dravanian Horde. Montmioux suffers financial depletion and influence due to legitimising many of its former investments. Black Market profit slows and Mogr suffer, cut off from their Ishgardian supply and left to wither in Dravanian lands.

Now, 1567 Voidsent gargoyles attack a team of stonecutters at work in the tunnels beneath Dzemael Darkhold, leaving few survivors. Construction is postponed indefinitely, and the incident besmirches the name of House Dzemael. Secretly, Montmioux house is pleased by this, and filled their bellies and their wealth on the carcasses of the Dzemael.

The zenith of 1572 The Battle of Carteneau concludes when Dalamud bursts open, revealing the form of the primal Bahamut. The draconic monstrosity lays waste to the realm with His fiery wrath. This catastrophic event marks the end of the Sixth Astral Era—the Seventh Umbral Calamity. Mogr is almost all but wiped out, unable to sustain. The last of them too few to establish a proper tribe. Aelfgar Mogr unleashes a berserker's cry. A wail so shattering it opens the domains of hell, for what was unleashed remains unknown. Or was this to be the fate of the Nightkin Veena? "And soon I vill be vith you, Drrinking their blood & ale frrom currved horrns!"

With new agendas ever esoteric, the year is 1577 . . .
